»I came home full of dynamism!«
A survey of participants in the ›Intensive Taiji Camp‹ in Alterode/Summer 2005
By Andrea Schönig und Ulrike Beutnagel
›Intensive camps‹ enable more profound experiences with Taijiquan than most people are able to achieve in their normal daily lives. In order to find out more about these differences and the essence of such events, Andrea Schönig and Ulrike Beutnagel interviewed the participants of the Summer Academy 2005 in Alterode and summarised their findings in the following article. This reveals that the relaxed surroundings better enable people to ›let go‹, that sensitivity for oneself and the surroundings grows and that space for change is created. The expertise and personalities of the teachers, together with exchange among the participants themselves, are all important factors for personal learning progress.
