Better vision with Qigong
A concept for eye Qigong.
By Liane Schoefer-Happ
Many discover even during general Qigong or Taijiquan practice that afterwards they see more clearly; through specially selected exercises and self-massage this effect can be
significantly increased. Liane Schoefer-Happ, who has been involved in eye training for 25 years, first demonstrates links between one’s situation in life, physical health
(especially the liver) and vision. In her experience a combination of Daoyin exercises that stimulate the flow of Qi, exercises to support the liver/gall-bladder functional cycle,
massage in the area of the eyes and face and certain more distant points, eye exercises from other schools and sensitivity towards oneself have proved their worth in preventing or ameliorating problems with vision. She presents a few basic exercises from these
sources in more detail.
