Interview with Yang Zhen Duo

Last year Helmut Oberlack had the opportunity to interview Yang Zhen Duo the head of the Yang-style Taijiquan. As a direct descendant of the style-founder Yang Luchan he was brought up from childhood with Taijiquan. Although he expresses understanding for the modern ways of development he himself prefers the traditional forms and principles of his family. For this purpose he is preparing his grandson Yang Jun, who accompanied him on his training tour, to become his successor.
