Qigong in an Unusual Everyday Situation
A Report on the Filming of »Integral Qigong«

The TV series »Integral Qigong« commissioned by the Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Barmer Ersatzkasse was filmed not in the studio as the previous Tele-Gym productions »Ba Duan Jin« and »Tai Chi Qigong« but for the first time outside. Thus the filming became an exciting event including tractor and plane noises, birdsong, mooing cows and changing lighting and weather conditions. For Eva Rehle and Andreas W Friedrich it was an instructive challenge to teach the essence of Qigong under, at times, extreme conditions and, even in pouring rain, maintain their cheerful composure. Particularly in such a situation this art demonstrated its effectiveness.
