An Encounter with the Tibetan-Buddhist Nun Lama Fo Fu.
By Elvira Glück
In addition to the forms of Qigong we already know well, we learn more and more about other traditions. Lama Fo Fu, a nun of the Tibetan-Buddhist Mi sect, presented last year for the first time the Tantra Jingang Gong which she herself teaches. It stems from the Tibetan Karma Kagyu School. Although this system of Qigong is mainly used to maintain good health and can be practised independently of systems of faith, it also leads to higher levels where Qigong should then, combined closely with meditation, lead to spiritual realisation.
